Maximizing Space in a Leeds Bathroom: Our Latest Installation
At Norton Plumbing, we pride ourselves on transforming even the most challenging spaces into functional, stylish havens. Our latest bathroom installation project in Leeds involved a small bathroom that initially had a dated wet room layout.
This design was intended to maximise space, but it had its drawbacks. The wet room was prone to leaks, and the customer, a bath lover, yearned for a more traditional setup that included a bathtub.
Our goal was to fit a bathtub while making the most of the limited space available. We chose a versatile shower bath, providing the luxury of a bath with the practicality of a shower.
To free up more room, we strategically placed towel rails high up on the walls. This not only saves space but also keeps towels within easy reach.
One of the standout features of this bathroom refit is the compact back-to-wall WC and vanity unit we installed. This unit offers ample storage underneath, a necessity in smaller bathrooms where space is at a premium. To further enhance the sense of space and continuity, we designed the basin counter to seamlessly flow into the windowsill, creating a cohesive look and extra surface area.
We also incorporated a concealed shaver socket inside the cabinet, perfect for charging electric toothbrushes without sacrificing precious counter space. Additionally, a small shelf at the rear of the bath provides a handy spot for shampoo bottles and other bath essentials, keeping the area tidy and clutter-free.
Throughout the refit, our focus was on optimizing space and functionality while avoiding a busy, cluttered finish. We believe that this project is a testament to how thoughtful design and expert craftsmanship can transform even the smallest bathrooms into beautiful, efficient spaces.
